Our Projects

As a community-led organisation, EMA always has an ear on the ground for the most urgent needs in our communities. As we expanded our mobile medical services in the community over the last years, we identified gaps in the wider healthcare sector in Lebanon. The most prominent needs in our communities were dental care and physiotherapy. Accordingly, we founded a dental clinic in 2021 and a physiotherapy programme in early 2022. In February of 2023 we established our first fixed polyclinic, where we offer primary and specialist healthcare.

 

We are committed to a holistic approach to improve the general health and wellbeing in the communities we work in. This is why we also run projects for aid and relief such as food pack distribution, rent relief and financial support for medical bills and lifesaving treatment. We also run regular health education and awareness sessions, such as a first aid course and programmes on women's health.
