Dental Clinic
"Healthcare, a basic need, has become a luxury for the refugee communities, with 100% of the community in need of dental services: a gap we identified during our mobile health clinic activity."
The EMA dental clinic was founded due to the serious need for dental treatment for the refugees and impoverished communities in Lebanon. Healthcare has become a luxury for the refugees, with 100% of the community in need of dental healthcare. This project, which was established in June 2021, provides affordable and subsidised dental services to vulnerable and impoverished communities in Central and West Bekaa.
Our dental clinic provides access to high-quality dental healthcare to vulnerable and refugee communities. The clinic is staffed by fully licensed and qualified local dentists. In 2022 we reached over 10,000 patients, improving and maintaining quality of life and general health through dental care.

"Volunteering within EMA association has been for me a very fulfilling experience. From a professional point of view, it has enabled me to learn a lot from the local team and especially to rethink about my practice as one has to take into account the different obstacles and issues people in the camps are going to face during recovery."
