"While running our mobile clinics, we identified an urgent need in the communities: 100% of the community was lacking access to affordable dental services. Our strategic response led to a fully operating and self-sufficient dental clinic within two years."
The EMA dental clinic was founded due to the serious need for dental treatment for the refugees and impoverished communities in Lebanon. Healthcare has become a luxury for the refugees and vulnerable host communities, with 100% of the community in need of dental healthcare. This project, which was established in June 2021, provides affordable and subsidised dental services to vulnerable and impoverished communities in Central and West Bekaa.
Our dental clinic is staffed by fully licensed and qualified local dentists. In 2022 we reached over 10,000 patients, improving and maintaining quality of life and general health through dental care.
